I’m Fiona and I live in Kirkcolm, a small village next to Loch Ryan near Stranraer.

I have worked as a Teacher of ASN for most of the last 30 years, mainly with children and young people with autism. I have also supported Parent Carers through a Carers Support Service run by Quarriers.

My adult son and daughter have autism and my son has recently been diagnosed with EDs. I am a self-diagnosed autistic person.

We all have rescue dogs. All 6 of them, at the last count, are a great support for our mental health. I am almost completely retired now so I have time for walking the dogs, needlefelting, swimming, reading and learning more about EDS/HSD.
