I’m Annie, and am delighted to be your Area Coordinator for Swindon.
I was diagnosed with hEDS 12 years ago at 52.
Lightbulb moment was an understatement!
My working career and my own personal medical history has given me a good understanding and insight of NHS and it’s specialities. My 40 year career includes Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sales , Pharmaceutical Training Manager, Medical Recruitment, CRUK Fundraising Manager, and finally I ended my working life as a consultant with Clinique.
Sadly store closure during lockdown forced an early retirement !
I am sure that a place like Swindon has a lot of fellow Zebras and I would love to see a local group form and grow, to support, befriend, share and encourage each other
