Hi, I’m Emma and I am delighted to be area coordinator for Leeds.

I was diagnosed with hEDS at age 24 after years of battling with symptoms and being ignored. It was gratifying to be able to understand my own body and begin my own healing journey. I have been able to uncover new ways to achieve the things that I wanted to without letting my hEDS symptoms hold me back.

I am a primary school teacher who loves to socialise with friends, visit the theatre for a musical or play and attend my choir. I am also an avid reader (particularly thriller books!) and enjoy diamond art painting.

I am looking forward to meeting and chatting with you all, whether it is face to face or virtually!
