Hiya, my name is Vivian and I’m from Dungannon.
I am 23 and was diagnosed with hEDS 6 years ago. Not long after that I found EDSuk and it was amazing to know that others nearby shared my experience and to have the words to explain my experiences to those who don’t.
Outside of my busy schedule as a professional sick person, I’ve studied psychology for 5 years and am currently taking a break to train my service dog Pluto. I’m also a massive nerd and love anything even remotely creative, from painting to hairdressing and even upcycling and costume making when I’m able.
I wanted to become a volunteer to help other zebras overcome the loneliness and isolation EDS and it’s comorbidities can cause.
