I have worked in the area of advocacy most of my career whether as a housing caseworker representing clients in court to working with complex needs clients in Housing Options, working as a Housing Support Worker in a Homeless Hostel and as a Drug and Alcohol Worker.
Whilst doing this through lived experience I have gained a vast experience in my spare time being a disability campaigner. i am on the Welsh Government’s Disability Taskforce, on Scope’s Storytelling Team where I speak to MPs and the Press on issues of disability. At work I am an Equality and Diversity Rep and on Unite Wales’ Disability Committee where I have a passion around disability and accessibility in particular.
