Hi! My name is Mia and I’m from West Cornwall.

I was diagnosed with hEDS last year after a long battle with the medical system to find out why my body didn’t work like everyone else’s.

I was training to be a Nurse Associate under gastroenterology and endoscopy until my body became too unwell to work such a high intensity job, so I am pleased to be able to support other people like myself in other ways! I also used to work as a SEN nursery teacher and I have 3 children of my own (one who is autistic like myself!)

I’m excited to bring support to our little area of Cornwall and I would love to create a safe space for my fellow Zebra’s and their little to discuss our conditions and support each other!

I cannot wait to meet you all:)
