Meg and Charlie

Hello I’m Meg, I’m 29 years old and I’m your Area Coordinator for Norwich (we also have the lovely Charlie to join me in running the group).

I was diagnosed with hEDS in 2015 and what a rollercoaster it has been. I am extremely passionate about raising awareness and helping others with the same condition/s to feel less alone and to help others to feel more supported in their own journey as I know there is a huge lack of support when it comes to being a zebra!

I live in the countryside with my little 8 month old puppy Ivy-Hope who is very cute but can be a little madam at times and likes to cause mischief which definitely keeps me on my toes! In my spare time I like to go pottery painting, and I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. It’s also important to note that I am also a huge Noah Kahan fan!

We already have a group of lovely zebras in Norwich and welcome anyone else who would like to join! I am really excited to meet even more of us and I hope to see you at one of the upcoming support group meetings.

Hello, I’m Charlie. I am a fellow Zebra and would like to help bring together the herd.
I’m neurodivergent and understand there are a fair few of us who are.
I love music, I love antique teddy bears, I love crafts and have two beautiful fur babies called Milo and Graham who love cuddles and make living with EDS easier.
It can be a tough world right now for us all and navigating the right services can be tough. Understanding of the condition is growing but it is still not where it needs to be.
It’s hard being a zebra however none of us have to face the journey alone.
Within EDSUK Norwich you will find a community of compassion and understanding where you can wear your stripes with pride.
