Hi, I am Caz!
I am one of the volunteer coordinators for the EDS UK Elders’ support group.
I was diagnosed in June 2000 after spending nine months on bed rest after I sprained my sacroilliac joint and I haven’t been able to walk unaided since.
However this hasn’t stopped me enjoying my life! For my distraction techniques I craft – I make anything from bags to cards; my craftroom is my happy place.
Every week I learned something new about EDS. But there is so much we don’t know about growing old with EDS and all the different comorbidities.
I want to support you on our journey through midlife and beyond.
